Right now I am sitting at my computer looking out on the woods. Silver dancers are falling. I suspect they’re snow flakes but couldn’t say for sure. Especially given that the roof is dripping and there’s only the faintest wisps of cloud above us.
The sun is rising and has nearly crested the trees but it’s neither warm nor bright enough to melt the icy frosting that covers the tips.
You would have to work hard to not be content with this view right now. Even I – the perpetual motion machine – have been struck enough to just watch and be grateful.
